Hey, my name's Benjamin. I've been wanting to get back into landscaping work and gardening, and I'm fundraising for assistance to market my abilities as well as purchasing the equipment that I need. I really want to get back to landscaping, I love and miss the work. My goals are to gain and maintain employment after building a client base with my own landscaping company, and get back into stable housing.

About me.

I was born in Vallejo, raised in Novato out in Marin county. I was homeless on and off, then lived with my girlfriend for awhile, and now have been homeless for 2 years. I used to have a small, independently owned landscaping and gardening company. I loved the work a lot, but through a series of unfortunate events I had to step back from it.

My backstory.

After my son was born, him and his mom were placed into a program so she could prove that she's a responsible parent. I was living with her at her mom's house, but because she's no longer living at home I ended up having to go to the street. Now, I've had a lot of difficulties trying to get myself back on my feet.

My goals, moving forward.

What comes next for me is starting my own company. I want stability, I want to be back on my own two feet. I know that fundraising for these goals is going to help me gain that. I really want to get back to work, I miss the feeling of independently making my own source of income.

A dream of mine is to work with hospitals and institutions, to provide valuable healing to those who need it.
