About me.

I am from San Francisco. Initially, I was a nurse assistant helping the sick. I worked for Jewish Community Center. I also worked for Meals On Wheels, delivering food and working in the kitchen. I moved out of San Francisco eight years ago. I moved to Texas and unfortunately I lost my condo. I was in Texas for six years and in Las Vegas for two years. And there was no place like home so I came back to San Francisco. I started from scratch and do not have nothing...all I have is me, myself and I. I am homeless

My backstory.

I am currently homeless and disabled. Fourteen years ago, I faced a medical crisis. I had a blood cloth in my stomach and unfortunately I was misdiagnosed--doctors could not find what was wrong with me. I spent about ten months going back and forth to the hospital, telling doctors that there was something wrong with my stomach. And it was until the doctors inserted a camera down my throat to see what was wrong with me and it caused extreme abdominal pain. Then, I screamed all the way to the hospital and the blood cloth was breaking down into pieces, blocking my intestine, kidneys, all the way down to my toes. I was in the hospital for three months and when I got out I could not walk. So I had to relearned how to walk. Since then I have never been the same...I became disabled from this.

My misfortune continued when I was in the kitchen and I lost my balance and I fell. I broke my neck but I did not know I did. I lay on the floor for about 30 minutes and I got up and try to shake it off. I went to the doctor when I started having back pain. The pain was so excruciating but doctors and nurses seem to not care and were actually laughing. For 29 days, I walked with a broken neck until it got to the point that I could not move my legs. I was paralyzed from the waist down. And yet again, I had to relearned how to walk.

And this where I am right now. I was athlete before all this. I lost my job and my condo. Now I have to live with this even though I do not want to. I do it because of my children and grandchildren.

My goals, moving forward.

I want have a more stable life that include a house, become an entrepreneur. I want to go back to school and become a minister and an entrepreneur.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

My grand-kids make me happy, as well as music, reading, learning and making people happy. I love God and love to read the words of God.
