Why I'm using HandUp for the Competency Evaluation Program.

I am fundraising to raise money to renew my CNA certification so that i can continue to seek employment in my field of expertise.

About me.

I am originally from Houston, TX (Highlands, TX). I have been in San Francisco for eleven months now. Prior to moving to the city, I drove 18-wheelers for most of my life.

My backstory.

I was homeless from February 2014 until recently, when I secured my first apartment. My ex and I called it quits when I proved to him that I was serious about transitioning. I chose to come to San Francisco to use the transgender resources the city has to offer.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

I have to admit that my wildest dream is realizing that I really am transitioning, I never thought it could be a reality!
