I'm from the SF Bay Area and I've always been interested in the outdoors. Before I became ill with depression I was a bicycle messenger. I'm now raising my daughter and trying to get things back to where they should be. My hobbies are art and music. I enjoy going to church.
I have been homeless for 6 years off and on, mostly resulting from splitting from a significant other and having to fend for myself. I had to deal with a lot of hardship with my family and be humble in order to reconcile with them. I am staying with family currently and working on raising my daughter. I'm hoping to get a job as soon as possible in order to afford my own place and show my daughter how to be an independent woman.
I'm trying to build a solid foundation for myself by working and by learning to manage my depression. I want to have a stable job and place to live.
I'm proud that I was a bike messenger. I'm really motivated to get back to riding.
I'm raising money for basic needs so I can celebrate my son's college graduation in May 2018, visit my brother recovering from a stroke and his family, spend some time in my hometown, and also visit some seminaries as I am working to return to college to study theology to prepare to be a chaplain.
