About me.

My name is Jameela. I'm currently working as a caregiver for an agency. I have two wonderful children and I am trying to get back on my feet and a place to call home.

My backstory.

Back in South Carolina I was in a abusive relationship where I ended up with very little to my name, and very few places to turn to. This resulted in me losing my car and my job, and I was unable to afford my basic needs. Eventually I took my kids and left to stay temporarily with family in Detroit. Now I am searching for affordable housing and trying very hard to make a new start.

My goals, moving forward.

I plan on holding onto the job that I currently have and save up money, and so I can find a permanent and safe home for me and my children.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

Watching my kids grow up is the most precious thing to me.
