Why I'm using HandUp for a radiator.

I am fundraising for the radiator because my car recently broke down and having a leaking radiator that overheats can lead to other dangerous and serious mechanical issues. Having a working car is important to me because I have to have transportation. Transportation is important to be able to get back and forth to and from work and this vehicle also doubles as my temporary living quarters as I was wrongfully evicted.

** NOTE TO DONORS: We value your donations, and respect your intention to support people in need with their specific fundraising goals. On occasion, the immediate needs or an emergency may arise, and a Participant might require support in another way for safety, health, housing, or employment. As such, your donation may be used for an immediate basic need not mentioned in the above goal, such as groceries, health costs, or housing support. Any changes will always be approved in advance by PHC Staff. We will provide up to date information on how these funds are being used through an update on HandUp. By making a donation to this campaign, you are confirming your approval of this potential change. About me.

I was born and raised in San Francisco. I worked most recently with the local 510 Sign and Display, we do trade shows and conventions at the Moscone Center, the Event Center in San Mateo, and the San Jose Convention Center. I'm a sports fanatic and I love the Giants, the 49'ers and the Warriors. I do a lot of volunteer work at various churches throughout the city and I also attend a lot of NA & AA meetings in the city.

My backstory.

I am a recovering alcoholic and addict. Those two issues led to problems and complications in my life, which I am now overcoming. The other contributing factor which led to my current situation is being wrongfully evicted. As everyone knows, there is a housing crisis going on in the city and greedy landlords are wrongfully evicting individuals and families left and right. Recently having had 3 surgeries, 2 pins, 2 screws and Staph mersa in my right foot, I am recovering and hopefully soon will be able to go back to work.

My goals, moving forward.

I am working on regaining my health and my physical fitness to be able to go back to work and live independently with a good operating vehicle.
