Why I'm using HandUp for Storage.
I recently received the opportunity for section 8 but all of my families belongings are in storage. I have fallen behind due to not working at the moment. I am trying to save our personal items so when we locate a unit we can make the house feel more like home.
About me.
I am from Detroit. I have not worked in months due to covid. I am staying with family and friends and my children are attending online school.
My backstory.
I have looking for housing and using money with no income coming in. I was unable to maintain our previous home due to not working.
My goals, moving forward.
I have been able to be a part of the EHV program and I am currently pursuing a unit in Oakland county.
Other things I'd like to share about myself.
I have been working hard to find a unit and I am hoping that I am able to save the only things my kids have that is ours.
