Why I'm using HandUp for rent.
I'm so grateful to handup and the community who assisted me with preventing my family from being evicted. At this time, I'm using Handup to make sure I am able to keep up with upcoming rental costs after being laid off and the schools coming to a close. Anything helps, and I can't say how much I appreciate you all in this challenging time.

You coming together to support our community's teachers at this time is so inspiring! Lekeisha's landlord has confirmed that he has called off the eviction that was scheduled to take place, and now Lekeisha is working in every way possible to ensure that she is able to continue moving forward through this community health crisis as best as she can. Lekeisha is raising funds to support with May and working with her school to figure out how they can best support the laid off workers at this time.
