I'm raising money for presents for my grandchildren so I can spend Chirstmas with them and surprise them for the holidays**.

Why I'm using HandUp for presents for my grandchildren.

I first heard about HandUp when I came to Project Homeless Connect from one of the resource specialists. I am using this fundraising platform because there's not many resources in San Francisco that helps homeless disabled people. I am using HandUp to fundraise for gifts because this will be our first holiday together as a family in more than 10 years.

About me.

I am originally from East Palo Alto. I have been homeless for over 20 year. I enjoy watching sports and I love to read.

My goals, moving forward.

I want to secure a home for myself as well as a safe space for my kids and grandchildren. My main goal is to live a healthier, better life than I have lived in the past. All I want to do is create an environment where my family can benefit from living in a loving and caring home......a real home.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

I am most happy when I am with my kids and family. My proudest moment is seeing my daughter graduate from high school. My wildest dream is to help my grandchildren get into college. I am also a Christian and I believe that I will be blessed and with the help of others like you things will get better.
