I have been homeless off and on for the past 7 years and I don't have much. I m starting all over and am in desperate need of everything and depending on the kindness of others to help me get my feet back on solid ground. I really need some help with household items which is difficult to save up for with my fixed income.

About me.

I am from Detroit, born and raised and have lived here all my life. I have worked off and on until the year of 2014 where I did odd jobs and things to keep a little money in my pocket to eat. Since 2014, I have not been able to find work.

My backstory.

I have an alcohol addition problem and have had it since I was 6 years old. I have attended rehab. off and on and have successfully completed the programs but due to the stress of being homeless and having to survive on the streets, I always found comfort in drinking. When I was last housed I didn't drink but due to water damage at my last residence, I ended up homeless. Now I have a second chance and I want to succeed in being free of my addiction.

My goals, moving forward.

I want to maintain my sobriety by admittance into a rehab. program, maintain my housing, eventually attend culinary arts school, and become productive again.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

What makes me happiest is living a stress free life and finding a place where i can be working towards my goals. My proudest moments came when I was earning a paycheck.
