I am using Hand Up to purchase a used car. My current one has been malfunctioning since it was damaged in a car accident and does not exceed 25 mph.
About me.
I was originally born in Jacksonville, FL but I have been living in Detroit for most of my adult life. I have 4 children with 3 of them currently enrolled in college. I received my Associate's degree from Oakland Community College but I am unable to work much after having 2 knee replacements.
My backstory.
I became homeless years ago after fleeing domestic violence. I entered a rehabilitation program at the Genesis House. This is when I found the Travelers Aid program and they found me permanent housing soon after.
