I was born and raised in Michigan and am a proud mother of three daughters. Through resilience and with the support of Lighthouse, I was able to secure stable housing and sign my first lease. Today, my children and I finally have a safe place to call home.

The happiest moment of my life was signing the lease for our first home. I felt overwhelming joy and gratitude, especially knowing my children finally had a safe and stable place to live. More than anything, I had longed to provide them with a home, and that day marked a turning point for our family. Since then, I’ve held onto the belief that our future can continue to improve. I am deeply committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure my children never have to endure the hardships I experienced.
