I am using HandUp to obtain the basic needs for my baby and pay my court fines so I can get my license. I am trying to support my child and have reliable transportation.
I'm a single mother to my 7-month old baby boy, Izaiah. I just moved to the area and am staying at Community Outreach. I am working part-time in the food industry. I've battled with addiction since the age of 13 but since I've had my son, I've stayed clean. He's the light of my life and I love being a mom.
I've escaped a very abusive relationship with his father and I'm doing everything I can to make a better life for us. I've made many mistakes throughout my journey but everyday I work on making the next right decision. I'm currently clean and sober, living in a shelter at Community Outreach, and single (which is key for my sobriety).
I want to get stable enough so I can support my 7-month-old, get transportation so I can visit my other 2 children, and obtain my own housing.
Eventually I'd love to build my very own tiny house and own a business.
