Hello Elizabeth!
You are doing amazing. My own family has had struggles similar to yours and I want you to know that there is hope for a future of stability and you can get through the tough times. Much love, Hailey.

I moved to San Francisco in 2008 because I have family here. Food and housing are very expensive here but I chose to be here to be closer to people I loved. Family is very important to me.
On my free time, I enjoy watching movies and cross-stitching.
I am living in an SRO to avoid living on the streets. It has been challenging living here due to having a variety of health issues that make it difficult for me. My belongings are constantly stolen, damaged, and destroyed living here. I do not feel safe in the SRO and it makes it challenging. I work 12-hours a week but am woken up at night by other residents who disturb me. I am looking forward to having a safe, secure place where I can call my own and pursue a happier quality of life.
My goals include having housing, being able to sleep at night and have access to my own kitchen and bathroom.
I would like to visit my family back East and hope to do it next year, if I can. I look forward to hopefully seeing them soon.

Joyce reports she is doing well and very hopeful to secure her permanent housing in the near future. Joyce is still in need of support to afford her move into permanent housing. Any donations you can provide for her will be greatly appreciated!
