I experienced violence on the street and am getting holistic care to support me in moving forward mentally, physically, and spiritually. Thank you for your support as I move through this process.
I grew up in the Bay Area and have lived here for many decades. I am going through healthcare training at the community college. When I complete my training, I will be looking for administrative and managerial work in the healthcare system. I use public transit so things take three times longer. I spend most of my time at the library using the free computers.
I was assaulted on the street in Oakland. My family has never been helpful. I went to live in a foster home for two years when I was 15 years old, as my 24 year old sister refused to help me and other adults wouldn't help me either even though they have significant wealth and assets. My family is unable to help me out currently because they are abusive and have been harassing me. In the past two years, not once has my family given me a ride home from my medical appointments when I was on opiates and sedated.
I am working toward completing training at the community college. In addition I am looking for stable affordable housing and I will need help for a deposit to move-in.
I am a survivor of living in a foster home, incest, and child abuse. I have seen domestic intimate partner violence in my family.
