I have surgery planned soon and I do need to take specific medicines, prescribed by the doctor, that are not covered by my insurance. My medications are now through Walgreen's and it use to be that things were covered from Medi-Cal and Medicare but now there is a co-pay for each item.
I am on a fixed income, I don't have a credit card or any assets. I am glad I have Senior Housing, otherwise I would be paying more for housing. I am looking forward to my surgery and any support to help me prepare would be appreciated.
I love volunteering at a local soup kitchen as a cook, and I am a singer with Singers of the Street. Also, I volunteer at Davies Symphony Hall because I love classical music and play clarinet. I have two adult daughters but live alone and am attempting to be fully self-sufficient as I am not getting any assistance from family.
I am in contact with with a surgeon for gender confirmation surgery. I would like help raising money for incidentals related to the surgery that my insurance won't cover.
Thanks to everyone who has helped me in the past. Every amount is important and appreciated.
