About me.

I am originally from Detroit, MI. I moved out of state awhile back, in order to care for a sick relative. I returned to my home state last year. It has been a real struggle to make it on my own. I spend most of my time with my kids or working. I've tried to keep stability for my four kids. I hope to finish my education and get a higher paying job.

My backstory.

Things changed for me and my kids when I left an abusive situation. It's not easy to make it on my own, but I'm determined, with four mouths to feed and trying to keep a roof over our heads. I have been working, juggling childcare, and trying to keep things as stable as possible for my children. I want a better life for them.

My goals, moving forward.

My goal at the present time is to replace the income I lost due to coronavirus (I had two jobs in the food service industry). I am hopeful that things will come together. I'm trying not to become homeless again. My long term goal is to complete my degree and maybe even go to law school one day. I have dreams of a better life for my children.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

Honestly, being in my own place and seeing my children happy and healthy is what makes me happy.
