About me.

Hey, my names is Joel. Im originally from San Jose and Oakland. I moved to San Francisco in September of 2024. I work for a company called Juma that serves youth ages from 18-25. I was recently was let go from the company due to aging out. I love being active and out doors. my hobbies are basketball, football and biking, i love the beach exploring and traveling.

My backstory.

In November of 2023 I was housed. Prior to moving in I was working with a program called San Andres regional center (SARC) who agreed to help with my rent but unfortunately, they backed out of the deal and i was unable to make rent alone due to high coast of living. I became homeless in august of 2024 and been trying get back on feet.

My goals, moving forward.

I am currently in school for business and administrative. I want to graduate, I eventually want to transfer to a university and get my bachelors degree. While in school i want to focus on getting a good job and housing to help me manage my success.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

Being a provider, a strong support system and great influence for my younger siblings makes me happy. My proudest moment will be when i graduate collage, continue my education and begin my career path.
