Why I'm using HandUp for furniture.
I became homeless after being disabled. My lack of funds does not allow me to do all that is needed to start a home and I can really use some help.
About me.
I am from Detroit and worked for a manufacturing plant. I had a family once and lost everything. I’m just trying to put my life back together.
My backstory.
I was off my meds and got mixed up with dealing and became incarcerated in Michigan. I chose to leave it all behind because CPS workers advised that my wife and I can’t be in the house together.
My goals, moving forward.
To put my life back together.
