I was born and raised in San Francisco California. I worked with the youth as a counselor before tearing my rota-tor cuff in 2017 and 6 months after my injury I was in a car accident and had to have emergency surgery on my back which put me completely out of work. I now take care of my daughter who is autistic.
As I've stated before I have two children one whom is autistic, before my injury I was able to provide a decent living for my children but since becoming disabled and then homeless in the process has been extremely difficult on me because of limited funds and resources, I need transportation to get around, I;m doing the best I can. I've recently regained housing and am so grateful for that, now I can focus on other things such as sustaining my housing.
Providing for my children and getting the proper medical care and mental health services we need. I'm doing everything I can to stay positive by going to women's groups and being active in my community by attending city hall meetings to improve the community. I will continue to reach out and utilize all of the resources provided to me.
My happiest moments was when I was healthy and able to work and provide a decent wage and living for my familty. My proudest moments was giving birth to my children.
I'm raising money for basic needs.
