Why I'm using HandUp for a bed.

I am using HandUp to fundraise because I need assistance in purchasing furniture for my new home.

** NOTE TO DONORS: We value your donations, and respect your intention to support people in need with their specific fundraising goals. On occasion, the immediate needs or an emergency may arise, and a Participant might require support in another way for safety, health, housing, or employment. As such, your donation may be used for an immediate basic need not mentioned in the above goal, such as groceries, health costs, or housing support. Any changes will always be approved in advance by PHC Staff. We will provide up to date information on how these funds are being used through an update on HandUp. By making a donation to this campaign, you are confirming your approval of this potential change. About me.

I am originally from Los Angeles in the Echo Park and moved to the bay area 11 years ago. My background is in nursing which I would like to return to. I am in school for Construction Management. During my free time I enjoy exploring the city and studying. I avoid television at all cost.

My backstory.

When I moved to San Francisco I sat and passed my state boards in 45 minutes. I was given the opportunity to work at UCSF Mount Zion in their Department of Pediatrics via UCSF's float pool. I am currently enrolled in CCSF Mission Hiring Hall Construction Management Program. I was lured into an illegal in-law unit. I sued my landlord and won. Unfortunately I was never awarded the settlement agreement in the summer of 2016

My goals, moving forward.

My current goals are to finish the Construction Management program I am in and to have my Nursing License reinstated.
