About me.

I'm a 36 year old, single mom of three children. I have a 13 year old son, a 9 year old daughter, and a 4 year old daughter. My past work experience includes being a dental assistant and a hair stylist. I have cut hair for over 18 years but have recently taken a break for my health. During my time in the shelter at Community Outreach, I have been cutting hair for other clients in the family dorm, when they are needing a trim or cut. My cosmetology license just expired this last month, so I'm planning to re-new it and start applying for hair stylist jobs through-out Corvallis.

My backstory.

In the past i have made some bad choices, including men and I'm currently raising my 3 kids without any involvement or support of their father. I have always been a hard working, working ever since I have had my children, sometimes even having two jobs. Though recently I ran into some trouble because of who I allowed in my life. I've now gotten away from those people and am moving forward, my first step in becoming stable and gaining housing is to find a good job to support my family.

My goals, moving forward.

I really would like to get a job as a Hair Stylist, where I can be home at night and on weekends for my children. I would then like to save some money and open a bank account. From there I would then like to find permanent housing and concentrate on being a good parent to my kids.
