I'm raising money for 800 so I can fix my car to move around and get a laptop for job search**.

Why I'm using HandUp for 800.

Due to my disability, I would like to get my car fixed so move around and do my groceries. My car needs a throttle cable, oil change and fuses for the night lights. I would also need to reinstate my license and car insurance. The funding needed to cover these expenses amount to $500.

For my job search, it will be nice to have a laptop or a desktop to be able to find work on my resume and search for jobs. For this goal, I would need $300.

About me.

I am working to get myself back on my feet to work again. Because of my chronic disability I have not been able to work for almost ten years now. I am currently taking classes for resume writing and coding at the Code Tenderloin Job Readiness program, three days a week for 4 hours a day for six weeks.
